Anchor continuously scans public business directories and the open web for businesses with a real footprint. Reviews, a phone number, a physical address, an active social page. What they're often missing isn't just a website. It might be outdated branding, no social presence, no way to sell online, or a site that hasn't been touched in years.
We treat “no website” as a strong signal, not the whole picture. When we find one, we look at the full digital gap, not just whether a domain exists.
Anchor members aren't only web designers. The platform is built for any digital expert: web design and development, branding and identity, social media management, SEO, e-commerce setup, paid ads, content and copy. When a business is missing several of these at once, that's often the strongest opportunity, and members can pitch exactly what that business needs, not a generic package.
Two engines run continuously.
We query official, approved APIs (Google Places, Foursquare, and public Facebook data) for businesses with a real listing but no website on file.
A second system reads public, indexable signals across the open web (local news, community forums, directory listings, public social bios) for businesses that show earlier or softer signs of a digital gap. Every AI-sourced lead comes with the evidence it was found from, so members can judge it for themselves before reaching out.
We only ever use official APIs and public search results. We don't scrape platforms whose terms prohibit it, and we don't access anyone's private data.
Anchor is apply-only. There is no open sign-up.
Submit your portfolio, your focus area, and a short pitch on why you'd be a good fit.
Every application is read by a person, not auto-approved.
If it's a fit, you'll get a single-use invite to set up your account.
See businesses matching your niche and location as they're found, claim the ones you want to pursue, and reach out with a branded, compliant template. Replies come back into your Anchor inbox, not your personal email.
